What is Physiotherapy?

At Pinnacle Health Group, Physiotherapy is a multi-faceted service to help return any person back to their physical peak. It involves the examination of the body, the assessment of the specific needs of the patient, the diagnosis of any injuries or abnormalities, and then the physical treatment of that diagnosis. We treat, but are not limited to, people with:

   Neck and Back Pain

   Sports Injuries

   Musculoskeletal Injuries

   Overuse Injuries

   Muscle, Joint and Ligament Injuries

   Post-operative Rehabilitation

The Pinnacle Approach

Our clinical approach is constantly evolving as we base our treatment techniques on the latest research findings and update our skill set on a regular basis. We realize that there is so much more to your visit than simply lying on a table and being “cured”; we endeavor to create a treatment plan that encompasses all facets of your lifestyle in order to get you back to normal and to prevent any further injuries occurring.  We combine several treatment styles to achieve our results, which can include the following:

    Soft tissue massage

    Mobilization & Manipulation

    Dry Needling

    Exercise Prescription

    Clinical Pilates

Why Choose Physiotherapy?

Physiotherapy at Pinnacle Health Group will help relieve you from pain, as well as offer you long term solutions to manage and prevent injuries that may occur. Combined with Clinical Pilates, Physiotherapy can offer a health management system that is sustainable in everyday life. Through talking with your Physiotherapist, you will gain knowledge about how your body functions (in language you understand), and be provided with follow up material and support which will keep you on the right track.

The Ins and Outs of Your Appointment

All Physiotherapy consultations, both initial and standard, are thirty minutes in duration and are arranged at a time that suits you. No medical referral is necessary before seeing one of our therapists, however if you have any relevant medical information, such as scans or reports, please bring them with you to your appointment. Your Physiotherapist will conduct a thorough physical assessment in your first session and devise a specific treatment plan for you. They will also maintain regular follow up contact with you, outside your appointment times.
