Originally growing up in Tasmania, Adam developed a passion for all things sport, competing from a young age in AFL, cricket, swimming and rowing. This led him to complete a Bachelor of Health Science in Launceston before moving to Sydney to pursue his passion for physiotherapy completing a Master of Physiotherapy at the University of Sydney.
Adam has a keen interest in musculoskeletal physiotherapy and strength and conditioning and believes in taking a holistic and client centred approach. He understands the importance of ensuring all his treatments are individualised and reflect current evidence based practice to gain the best outcomes for his patients. He is skilled with manual therapy techniques and focuses on functional and active rehabilitation to assist you in performing at your best to achieve your goals as quickly as possible. Having had previous sporting injuries, he is able to relate to patients’ injury concerns and provide diagnosis and treatment with an empathetic approach. Adam is a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association and has a strong commitment to ongoing personal and professional development.
Outside of work Adam likes to keep health and fit and likes to escape on weekend to go surfing or heading to the snow in the colder months. Since moving to Melbourne Adam also enjoys getting out to explore the city culture, whether it be sport or music, as well as finding great food and coffee!
