This energy, often described as “universal life energy is accessed by the practitioner during a treatment. It enhances the body’s natural healing ability and promotes wellbeing.
The purpose of Reiki is to promote relaxation, reduce stress and most importantly facilitate healing. Many patients are said to report “significant improvements in their level of pain, fatigue, and anxiety” after treatments.
A Reiki session can give you an opportunity to refuel the energy that is continuously burning up each day. This healing energy may allow you to gain awareness on how you are managing and regulating everyday emotions. Reiki Treatments can assist in “identifying any blockages in the body and mind” as well as recognising emotions which may be held within. Subsequently, this can result in rising common issues such as; Anxiety , nervousness, failure to think clearly , over-thinking and worry.
What Can I Expect in a Typical Reiki Session?
Each session will be different for each individual. Your practitioner Anchalee (Charlie)(Female) will be attempt to understand the root cause to your emotional distress and confusion, leaving you feeling open with a strong sense of comfort. A Reiki session is usually given to a fully clothed recipient and is offered through a light, non-invasive touch with the practitioner’s hands placed and held on a series of locations on the head, front and back of the torso. The Reiki experience is subjective, and sometimes very soft /subtle. People can experience heat in the practitioner’s hands, but often the practitioner’s hands feel refreshingly cool. Other common experiences are mild pulsations where the practitioner’s hands are placed or waves of pulsations throughout the body. People often comment how comforting they find the experience of Reiki to be.
Your practitioner may suggest a series of sessions. Four sessions is a traditional recommendation and gives you time to assess and evaluate what benefits you are receiving from each treatment both mentally and emotionally. Discuss with your practitioner how best to space the sessions to suit your needs and your daily schedule.
